Mwanza City lacks a bigger public place where people can meet and hang around. Also, the edge fronting Lake Victoria is treated as a backyard. So the design ARC revamps the entire water edge, giving back an active continuous “Promenade” to the City, enhancing the existing shore line. The Mwanza Central Square, is a place amidst the new CBD core, enveloped by commercial and institutional activities creating a vibrant City place, acting as the Water-Gateway to Tanzania.
