Pradakshina, Water Resilience, Competition
The concept is to create a “system” that revives the socio-ecological symbiosis. Water is the centre of the system, of the symbiosis. Four movements define the system- Inward, Outward, downward and upward. Water is harvested, stored and treated. The systems are such that water is seen and experienced in different ways. In Asia, festivals are part of the social system, which are linked to seasons, worshiping the nature. Thus, Pradakshina, circumambulation of water, talks about a cultural system that moves around the water, integrating both. It was a competition organised by NUS, themed as Designing Resilience in Asia
